  • "Monty Python Live (mostly) – One Down Five to Go" Nominated for a BAFTA TV Award

    The nominations for the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards, which reward the very best in television broadcast on British screens in 2014, were announced in London today.

    The live broadcast of "Monty Python Live (mostly) – One Down Five to Go" on UKTV Gold on 20 July 2015, billed “The Last Night of the Pythons”, has been nominated in the Sport & Live Event category.

    Other nominees in this category are "2014 FA Cup Semi-final Hull vs. Sheffield United", "Tour De France 2014, Stage 1" and "WW1 Remembered: From The Battlefield and Westminster Abbey".

    On hearing the news, Michael and Terry G commented: 


    I see we’re up against Sheffield United. No chance!” 

    "You’re so right… Not a chance, even with Graham’s coffin in goal.”

    The ceremony is on Sunday 10 May at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London.
